Final Horror movies seeing as it's approaching end of Halloween two Cronenberg movies The Fly and Dead Ringersto watch these you'll need DivX installed on your computer
Death Line aka Raw Meat..starring the best character in the Great Escape in my humble opinion Donald Pleasence.. to watch whole thing its an idea to sign up to veoh ..many hidden treasures there
More Indy..and an appropriate episode for Halloween one important error in the story is That Romania in first world war fought against the Central Powers..do your homework George folllow link to see episode..http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/DhVnlALdpB8/
hope this link works wherever you view this..sometimes I notice certain shows and films on web are only availiable in country it's streaming from ..which is crap.. internet is meant to be international ...anyway this is funny shit http://www.joost.com/129byl2/t/Peep-Show-103#id=129byl2
Found a replacement for The Addiction still a bit peeved about that ..The Hunger with Bowie And Catherine Denevue haven't seen this in years
film starts at this link follow the other links on vids on page to continue watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BIZ6huzFTE
The Addiction disapeared already from youtube which is a major drag..seeing as it's an intellegent Vampire movie i'll have to find another film to fill in the void ...
Trying to keep it spooky this week..here's two movies that deal with vampires firstly Kathryn Biglowe's Near Dark followed by The Addiction another Ferrar flick starring Christopher Walken, Lili Taylor and Anabella Sciorra http://www.youtube.com/user/lyncognito The Addiction
He should of got an Oscar for this..based on Jack Johnson , see my earlier posts "Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World" parts one and two which recounts his life
Kicking my Halloween season off with Micheal Reeves The Sorcerors starring Boris Karloff very mod for a horror movie..great music..Qudrophenia meets Zombies
..from Brooklyn, directed by Uli Edel, a director whose films I've been watching alot of lately , i'll come up with a double bill here of his fims sometime in the future
have to link it ..sadly quality is a bit crappy here worth tracking down a copy of this on dvd or video http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMTEyNzkxNzA0.html
Saw this at art school about 15 years ago Cassavetes debut(although theres two versions of this one shot before this in 1957)the perfect film for a blog with this title
I might watch this tonight
fixed links.. third attempt thank god for youtube
Updated ..films gone such is the nature of these things sorry..maybe I find another link but this blogs not really about downloading movies it's about watching films...so if they disappear andi'veseenthem..well it's no big deal
Another Film about Glasgow except set in modern times and about the world of surveillance(If Hitchcock was alive today I'm sure he'd make a film about this subject)
Nothing to do with Steve Marriot and Ronnie Lanes beat group(although I'm bound to have posts about them as there among my favourite groups ever) but a 1996 movie about 3 brothers who accidently get involved in Glasgows 1960's gang culture
Found more treasure onYoutube last night ..also starring Joe Strummer,Jim Jarmusch ,Courtney Love ,The Pogues,Circle Jerks,Dennis Hopper and many many more muscians and cult figures filmed in Spain like all good proper Spaghetti Wrsterns...look out for Sy Richardsons characterkind of like a Proto Jules from Pulp Fiction
btw sorry about stage vu seems to be down at moment .. nothing I can do i just find the links that are out there..
The Late Great Samuel Fuller ..look out for Tarrantino And Jim Jarmusch (more of him later) plus here's links to The Big Red One Reconstruction(40 added mins I haven't seen this myself only the cut version should be a revelation..that's if you don't mind chinese adverts whilst watching it DVD comes in 3 disk set so worth seeing it more that way)http://v.ku6.com/show/0VT9FAmi_DIW9Jbh.html
Next presentation is the film that influenced Inglorious Bastards(check out the slo motion shots in that film ) I've gotto find out more about "Macaroni Combat" sounds like an very interesting genre of cinema .. the hero of this film played by Mr Cool himself James Coburn is very much like one of my boyhood heroes from the British Comic Battle..Major Eazy(one cool cat as you can see here)but Eazy predates Steiner by a year or so .
Very Very diferent movies btw (couldn't Q.T come up with own title? I may of seen this before on telly after "It's a Knockout"..back in the late 70's and early 80's it reallly was that cool when you were a kid (censorship was all about bad language..guess they may of changed title) in U.K..not to be taken too seriously(like an extension of later spagetthi westerns).. enjoy
Thought I'd stick some tunes up 1st playlist is filled to the brimwith 60's garage tunes i'll do more in time of different genres of music but here's the first
