Thank God for the Internet  and Nuggets 2 .. I would of  not of known about this music I'd would of had to go on Holy Grails to search for it .... I will do part 2 someday..and part 3 I love this music so much .. one video a Q65  vid has no sound .. its just rare to find film of them at height of there power .. part 2 will feature much more Outsiders stay tuned ..I'm all for the European  union me! lol

John Hicklenton

Saddened to hear that John Hicklenton  passed away after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis  I'll always remember his Nemesis the Warlock with his mad long neck ..he went even further than Kevin O'Neill(who created Nemesis alongside Pat Mills) to create a truly alien alien.. He recently was subject of a film "Here's Johnny" which you can see a clip of here http://www.heresjohnnyfilm.com/and also purchase a DVD of it ...

If there's one guy who'd make a decent Judge Dredd movie it would be Richard Stanley  who I've featured on this blog before http://beatniksbroadcastincompany.blogspot.com/2010/01/secret-glory.html
One reason is quite clear he's the first guy to make a feature film based on a 2000ad story before and did a pretty good job of it. Based upon a short story by Ian Rogan and artist Kevin O'Neill called Shok , Hardware came out in 1990..look out for Carl McCoy from the Neff as Nomad the Zone Tripper (he's quite short in real life saw the Neff back when I was 16) and the voices of Iggy Pop and Lemmy ..a cyberpunk psychotronic  classic

Just been messing around with photoshop wondering what my ideal Judge Dredd would look like if played by the right actor(seeing as a proper Judge Dredd movie is in the works), it's all in the chin and grimacing..I'm no expert at photo manip as you can tell but curious to see . ..Clints the obvious choice seeing as he's partially based on him in Dirty Harry ..plus I reckon these guys would keep the bucket on there head throughout the movie ...but I doubt these guys would be cast , someone younger and fitter I guess but JD's meant to be a veteran and not a young turk more than likely it will be an unknown .. the original photos which I've butchered here come from http://judgeminty.blogspot.com/ which is a fan film in production looks great and faithful to the real Dredd and not the 1995 movie..as are these cutscenes from  a playstation one game


I'd like to try something photoshop wise with female judges on my other blog but no costumes as yet..these characters are so cosplay worthy.

The Bogie Man

I've Just Watched "Gumshoe" starring Albert Finney on the box and it made me think of a comic from late eighties/early nineties The Bogie Man written by Judge Dredd creators John Wagner and Alan Grant Illustrated by Robin Smith, now I know they're no fans of this production , but I've yet to see it, strange choice of who plays Bogie Ronnie Coltrane but he's usually good and look out for Bing Hitler ..I mean Craig Ferguson and for some surreal reason Midge Ure from Ultravox (I wonder if he can act?)
