Kind of a Rock family tree but with videos starting off with The Rain Parade with the Roback Brothers Steven and David(who would go onto form Opal and Mazzy Star) followed by The Dream Syndicate whose bass player Kendra Smith would go onto to join and sing in Opal.. Opal would go onto mutate into Mazzy Star (as seen in the footage here with Hope Sandoval providing the vocals on songs Kendra used to sing )Hope Now sings with the Warm Inventions with My Bloody Valentines Colm O Ciosoig..but from what I've heard circulating on web Mazzy Star may may make another record someday.
I'm bound to feature more Hope either here or on other blog at some point in time...alwaysthought Stone Rosesripped off The Rain Parade ..well on Waterfall anyhow
