Julien Temples Musical take on Ian MacInnes novel about birth of the teenager ..vibrant and colourful it has a host of stars Bowie ,RayDavis, Steven Berkoff ,Sade, Smiley Culture , Mandy Rice Davis, Patsy Kensit,James Fox,Alan Freeman and Lionel Blair as a kind of( proto Simon Cowell )..in fact many more going through the cast that I didn't spot ..it's a huge production and excellently chreographed .. not much of a fan of Bowies stuff in the 1980's but the title songs a blinder ..among one of his best (unlike his American Accent in this movie lol)
