Bowies original song plus links to the movie which is a fictious take on the time when Bowie,Iggy and Lou were at the peak of their powers The Iggy Character is Curt Wild..a dead ringer for Cobain played by Ewan McGregor ..not sure if Iggys gay(as depicted in film..same might be said about Bowie ..but that's his business anyhow playing characters ) he's always struck me as been overtly hetrosexual with the odd bout of been a woman for the week(read Danny Sugarmans "Wonderland Avenue" for the details about that ) but it is a work of fiction anyhow (get the lawyers lol)
