Yearn for Mandalore

..Yep another Boba Fett related post .. but I've been waiting for this for years(early 1983 to be precise)..The Mandalore System (were The Fettster was meant to have originated.well at .least his armour ) has always been a place that's intrigued me .. back  in 83 I read issues 68 and 69 of the original Marvel Star Wars comics which explored Fetts home world(kind of a forest like world, very well drawn too by the late Gene Day (this was one of his final strips he drew died a very young man at 31 and inked by the godlike Tom Palmer ) this was awesome stuff .. in fact as a kid I copied his drawings from this story it left a huge imprint on me as the style was very experimental using silhouettes for panel shapes.. Boba never really appeared in story but two Mandalorian Shocktroopers did (in fact Leia forgot about Han for a while with one of them .Fenn Shysha) finally 27 years later we get to see Mandalore again..although very different from Day's vision..although they do mention forests been grown in first episode here . photo images from the ultimate do it yourself Boba Fett costume site  http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/index.html
