Charley's War

Wanted to do a post about my favourite comic strip of all time Charleys War the tale of a 16 year old volunteer who joins up just in time for the Battle of the Somme .. In the world of comics it is truely a unique story written  by Pat Mills (never has a comic  story been so well researched may I add) and illustrated by the late great Joe Colquhoun.. (I think Bolland comes second in my all time 10 ten comic artists..Joe remains at number 1.. if you visit these links you'll see what I mean )
