Sam meets his mum and Marc Bolan back in 1973,good episode (well they all are ) just saw a pic of the American version of this show of Gene Hunt ..man wheres his beer gut?guy looks like your typical TV cop . There's only one Gene Hunt and that's Philip Glenister ! Mind you there's also a Spanish version of this show too wonder what that's like(and is it set during General Franco's era?)Updated- whoops just realised the pic I was looking at of Gene Hunt was in fact the American version of Sam Riley doh! Gene is Played by Harvey Keitel(no less) who I think is wonderful .. I'll have to take a look at that show!
