Shadows of the Empire

Shadows of The Empire was a multimedia project that was everything but a movie. A novel , a comic(written by John Wagner co-creator of Judge Dredd no less) toys , a soundtrack, trading cards and a computer game.. it was a project of epic scale, a excercise to get people excited about the forthcoming Special Editions that followed a year later (this was back in 1996). Have to admit didn't play computer games back then so I can't comment on the game but I think they got Xivors voice wrong here looking at the cutscene ..I expected Jack Nicholson, that's how I envisioned him in book and comic, anyhow if Lucasfilm have any sense somehere down the line they should make an animated version of the events that happen durring the galactic civil war based upon The Marvel Comic Books, Al Williamson's newspaper strips(More on that later)and this story ..but the Xivor cmon' man .. he's Jack!
